Terms and Conditions

This Agreement, which includes both the Transactional Terms and the General Terms, constitutes a legally binding agreement between you (the “User” or “Member”) and Jeel E-commerce, operated by H&D Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., in connection with your access to and use of the transaction services available through Jeel E-commerce’s platform. By accessing, browsing, or using any part of the platform or engaging in any transaction facilitated by Jeel E-commerce, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this Agreement

This Agreement is between you and H&D Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., the legal entity operating Jeel E-commerce. Throughout this Agreement, “Jeel,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to H&D Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., and “you” or “your” refers to any individual or entity using the Jeel E-commerce platform. The Agreement applies to all users accessing the platform for the purpose of browsing, purchasing, or interacting with Jeel E-commerce’s transactional services.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, all content available on the Jeel E-commerce platform—including but not limited to website design, text, graphics, images, logos, button icons, audio and video clips, data compilations, software, and digital downloads—is the property of Jeel E-commerce or its affiliated companies, licensors, or content suppliers, and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other applicable intellectual property laws in the Maldives and internationally. The arrangement and compilation of all content on the site is the exclusive property of Jeel E-commerce. No content or material from the site may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, distributed, or used in any way for commercial purposes without express written permission from Jeel E-commerce.

Jeel E-commerce values and encourages feedback and suggestions from users to improve its services. However, any comments, feedback, suggestions, ideas, questions, proposals, or other materials submitted to Jeel E-commerce, whether via the platform, email, social media, or any other means (collectively, “Submissions”), will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. By submitting such content, you agree that Jeel E-commerce will own all rights, title, and interest in the Submissions, including all intellectual property rights therein, without restriction or compensation to you. This means Jeel E-commerce will have the unrestricted and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content worldwide in any media. You further agree that your Submissions will not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights, and that your Submissions will not contain any unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, abusive, or otherwise objectionable material. Jeel E-commerce reserves the right (but not the obligation) to monitor, edit, or remove any content submitted by users at its sole discretion.

All editorial content, information, photographs, illustrations, artwork and other graphic materials, as well as names, logos and trademarks displayed on the Jeel E-commerce platform, are protected by copyright laws, trademark laws, and/or other applicable local and international intellectual property regulations and treaties. These materials are the exclusive property of Jeel E-commerce (operated by H&D Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.) and/or its content providers or licensors, as applicable. You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any content from this platform, whether in part or in full, unless expressly authorized in writing by Jeel E-commerce or the relevant rights holder. All software, digital tools, and accompanying documentation made available through Jeel E-commerce are the copyrighted works of Jeel E-commerce or its licensors. You are granted a limited license to use such software and documentation, subject to any applicable license terms provided with them. No ownership rights are transferred to you. You are prohibited from reverse-engineering, disassembling, or otherwise tampering with any of the software provided via the platform. Nothing on the Jeel E-commerce platform shall be interpreted as granting any license or right to use any trademark, logo, or intellectual property displayed, whether by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, without prior written consent from Jeel E-commerce or the relevant owner. Unauthorized use of any content, logo, or trademark is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action. All rights not expressly granted under these terms are reserved by Jeel E-commerce. Other product and company names mentioned on the platform may be trademarks of their respective owners.

Jeel E-commerce provides an online transactional platform and related services ("Transactional Services") that enable registered users of the platform to purchase products and services within the Jeel ecosystem, subject to the terms of this Agreement. These services may include product listings, order placements, payments, delivery coordination, and other related processes. Jeel E-commerce may, from time to time, publish or update rules governing online transactions, including but not limited to dispute resolution policies, return policies, and any additional operational guidelines (“Transactional Terms”). These Transactional Terms are incorporated by reference into this Agreement and by continuing to use the platform, you agree to comply with them.

You acknowledge and agree that Jeel E-commerce reserves the right to amend or update any provision of this Agreement, including both the General Terms and Transactional Terms, at its sole discretion. Any updated version will be posted on the platform, and such amendments shall become effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of Jeel E-commerce following the posting of amended terms constitutes your acceptance of those terms. No other modifications to this Agreement shall be valid unless issued in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Jeel E-commerce.

The Transaction Services provided by Jeel E-commerce are designed to facilitate online ordering, purchase, and fulfillment of goods and services by registered users (“Online Transactions”). Jeel E-commerce may modify, upgrade, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Transaction Services, either temporarily or permanently, without prior notice. Jeel also reserves the right to introduce new features or functionalities from time to time. Unless otherwise stated, such new features shall be governed by this Agreement. Transaction Services are exclusively available to registered users of Jeel E-commerce. If your registration is terminated while a valid transaction is in progress, Jeel E-commerce shall retain full discretion to determine the appropriate resolution, including refunding the buyer or releasing funds to the seller based on available information and circumstances. If you are a seller on the platform, you are required to maintain a valid and verifiable bank account, which may be subject to verification by Jeel E-commerce or its affiliates.

This website, its services, the information provided on the platform, and the use of all related features are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties—express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable laws, Jeel E-commerce (operated by H&D Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.) disclaims all representations and warranties related to this website and its content. This includes, but is not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, quality, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement, as well as warranties that may arise from the course of dealing or usage of trade. Jeel does not guarantee that the website will always be accessible, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, nor that it will be free of viruses or other harmful components. We are also not responsible for disruptions due to force majeure events, including but not limited to, natural disasters, power failures, equipment breakdowns, telecommunication failures, or any other cause beyond our reasonable control. While reasonable efforts are made to provide accurate and current information, Jeel E-commerce makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any material on the platform. All access to or use of the platform is at the user’s own risk. Under no circumstances shall Jeel E-commerce be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—whether foreseeable or not—arising from the use of, inability to use, or reliance on the website or its contents. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunities, or other intangible losses, even if Jeel has been advised of the possibility of such damages. These exclusions and limitations shall apply to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms shall limit or exclude any consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable laws. Despite efforts to maintain the security of our systems, you acknowledge that all electronic communications and data transfers over the internet are potentially vulnerable to interception or unauthorized access. Jeel E-commerce does not guarantee and cannot be held responsible for the security or confidentiality of data transmitted to or from the platform.

While Jeel E-commerce may offer software or tools for download or use through its platform, such software is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any such software is free from defects, viruses, or compatibility issues with your systems or that it meets any specific needs or purposes. Jeel E-commerce accepts no liability for any loss or damage resulting from the download, installation, or use of any software made available through this website. All limitations and disclaimers outlined above also apply to any such software-related issues.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jeel E-commerce (operated by H&D Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.), its directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and service providers from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
(i) your access to or use of the Jeel E-commerce platform,
(ii) any other person’s access to or use of the platform using your login credentials, device, or network, and
(iii) your violation of any of these Terms and Conditions, policies, or any applicable laws.
This indemnity obligation shall survive the termination or expiration of your account or use of the platform.

Jeel E-commerce operates from and offers services within the Republic of Maldives, while also facilitating the import of products primarily from India. By accessing or using this platform, you acknowledge that different jurisdictions may apply to the movement of goods; however, your use of the website, and all transactions made through Jeel E-commerce, shall be governed solely by the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
You further agree that any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, your use of the platform, or any transactions made through Jeel E-commerce, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Maldives.

This platform may contain links to other websites or online services operated by third parties ("Linked Sites"). These links are provided solely for your convenience and do not constitute any endorsement or recommendation by Jeel E-commerce (operated by H&D Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.) of the content, services, or operators of those Linked Sites. By accessing a Linked Site, you acknowledge that you are leaving the Jeel platform and doing so entirely at your own risk. Linked Sites are not under the control of Jeel E-commerce, and we are not responsible for the content of any such site, including any link contained within a Linked Site or any changes or updates to such sites. Any opinions expressed or material appearing on such sites are not necessarily shared or endorsed by Jeel E-commerce. The presence of any link does not imply any form of affiliation, approval, or endorsement by Jeel. Furthermore, we do not assume any responsibility or liability for any interactions, communications, or transactions you may have with the operators of such Linked Sites, whether or not they are related to services or products referenced through our platform. You agree that Jeel E-commerce will not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of, or reliance on, any content, products, or services available on or through any Linked Site.

Merchandise listed on Jeel E-commerce is primarily offered on a preorder basis and is subject to availability from our partner sellers and suppliers, most of whom are located outside the Maldives. Products are not necessarily kept in stock locally unless specifically mentioned. By placing an order, you acknowledge that the item may need to be sourced and imported upon confirmation. While we make every effort to ensure that our product listings reflect current availability, there may be instances where a product becomes unavailable due to supplier stockouts, order limitations, or unforeseen logistical delays. In such cases, Jeel reserves the right to cancel the affected part or the entirety of the order. If this happens, the customer will be notified promptly through the registered email or contact information, and a full refund of any payments made will be issued through the original payment method or other suitable alternatives agreed upon. Jeel also reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased per customer, per household, or per order. These restrictions may apply to orders placed using the same customer account, the same payment method, or the same billing or shipping address. If we make changes or cancellations to your order, we will attempt to notify you through the contact details provided at the time of purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance and successful payment processing. Jeel may, at its sole discretion, refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraudulent activity, violation of our policies, or other reasons that may compromise customer experience or platform integrity.

All products available on Jeel E-commerce are listed based on information provided by the respective sellers or suppliers. Jeel makes reasonable efforts to present accurate and up-to-date product details, including descriptions, specifications, dimensions, usage instructions, pricing, and images. However, we do not guarantee that all information will be entirely error-free or exhaustive. Product colors, textures, and appearances may vary slightly depending on your device’s display settings or lighting conditions. Such variations do not constitute defects and will not be considered grounds for return or refund unless the product significantly differs from the description or is damaged. Prices of products on Jeel E-commerce are listed in either Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) or United States Dollars (USD), depending on the listing and payment options. The applicable currency will be clearly displayed on the product page. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified. However, additional charges may apply for delivery, import clearance, or other services, which will be communicated during the checkout process or in the shipping policy. In the case of any pricing or product information error, Jeel reserves the right to correct such errors and revise your order accordingly. If we are unable to reach you for confirmation or if you do not agree with the updated information, the order may be cancelled, and any payments made will be fully refunded.

These Terms of Use constitute an agreement that remains in effect unless and until terminated by Jeel E-commerce. If, at any time and at the sole discretion of Jeel E-commerce, you fail to comply with any of the provisions outlined in this agreement, Jeel reserves the right to deny, restrict, or terminate your access to the website without prior notice.
Upon denial of access, you will no longer be authorized to access the Jeel platform, and all restrictions that were previously imposed on you concerning materials copied or downloaded from the site, as well as disclaimers and limitations of liability outlined in these Terms of Use, shall remain in effect and continue to apply.

Jeel E-commerce, operated by H&D Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., maintains a strict privacy policy that governs how we collect, use, and manage your personal information. This policy outlines our commitment to protecting your privacy when you access or use our website. The privacy policy is available on this website, and by using our services, you agree to the terms stated within it. These general terms and policies form an integral part of this agreement between you and H&D Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., the owner and operator of Jeel E-commerce. By continuing to use the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all applicable terms and policies.
